Fersa opens its logistics centre in Brazil
The bearings manufacturer establish its own distribution network in Brazil and plans to expand it to other South American countries soon
Fersa Bearings started 2016 with a new distribution platform, the Brazil Logistics Centre, in the city of Pinhais. The Spanish multinational dedicated to the design, development, manufacture and distribution of complete bearing solutions, is expanding its facilities in South America and strengthening its position in the Brazilian market.
Thanks to this centre, which will be operational from the end of December, Fersa will guarantee flexible and high-quality service to its local customers. This will also allow the firm to adapt its stock to the demand of the Brazilian market, providing a strong improvement in the availability of Fersa's products and optimising distribution. What is more, customers will be in direct contact with our logistics team in Brazil.
Fersa is also taking to South America its comprehensive and personalised service for commercial vehicles, Fersa Care, which consists of four lines of action:
- Fersa Solutions: a full-service approach of the most popular applications for wheel-ends, gearboxes and differentials for commercial vehicles.
- Fersa Academy: theoretical and practical training for distributors, rebuilders and mechanical workshops. It includes assembly advice and best practices.
- Fersa Tools: tools designed to facilitate the work of mechanics and their day-to-day safety, guaranteeing the correct assembly of Fersa's bearings.
Fersa Bearings is a modern and ever-expanding company. Fersa is today present in over 85 countries, its headquarters are located in Spain and also has subsidiaries in China, Brazil and the United States. With the opening of this new centre, there are now five Fersa logistics platforms spread across the world.
