Fersa Bearings has been awarded a Two Star solidarity certificate by the Association of Solidarity Entrepreneurs - Aragon at an awards ceremony in the Auditorium of the CEPYME, in Zaragoza.

The purpose of this initiative is to recognize companies, institutions and professionals who have shown their solidarity with disabled people through direct hiring or the implementation of measures that help to facilitate their access to work.

The certificates recognize the commitment of companies and consist of a single star (basic), two stars (merit) or three stars (outstanding).

The MAPFRE Foundation has received the 3 Star Outstanding Certificate in 2015 for its work with the program “Juntos Somos Capaces” (Together We Are Capable), which has been running since 2010.

Other distinguished companies are Schindler, Grupo Sesé, La Zaragozana, Supermercados Simply and Agreda Automóvil among others.

Solidar's initiative is a step towards the social and professional integration of people with disabilities. Fersa wants to highlight the need to work with business initiatives in order to make integration a reality.
