Until next edition, Motortec Automechanika Madrid
We closed this year's edition with a big amount of visits and impulsing our Fersa Care workshop services.
From March 15 to 18 we were participating as exhibitors in what is considered to be one of the most important trade fairs for the industry: Motortec Automechanika at IFEMA, Madrid. Although the official numbers are not yet in, exhibitors and organizers all agree that this year's edition far exceeded all expectations. More than 56,000 professionals attended this year's fair, including many workshops and major brands such as Mann Filter, Delphi, Valeo and Brembo.
We exhibited Fersa's latest products: our pinion module and new line of Fersa Tools (the hydraulic bushing extractor and the new universal tool case for the mounting and dismounting with press). Both products were finalists in the Innovation Gallery Awards and were showcased at the exclusive awards pavilion. Additionally, Fersa's commitment to progress and constant search for product improvement was recognized during the awards ceremony.
One of the most popular and attention-grabbing displays at our booth was our virtual reality simulator, the Fersa Truck. With the use of a virtual reality headset, visitors could drive a vehicle fully equipped with Fersa bearings over three different types of tracks: clean, gravel, and mountain roads. Moreover, drivers could simultaneously see what impact the load had on the truck and how our bearings withstood the challenge in real time.
We also took the opportunity to celebrate the second anniversary of our complete service for the Aftermarket, Fersa Care. Nearly 50 workshops approached our booth to learn about the latest developments and watch our live demonstrations.
The feeling after the fair is very good, especially with regards to the Portuguese market, in which we have growing expectations.
Motortec proved to be a must-attend event for the Iberian market, with great potential for growth. Thanks to all of those who stopped by our booth. We hope to see you again at the next edition.
