New Fersa Marking
We are changing the marking of our products to ensure full traceability
At Fersa Bearings, we are committed to ensuring the highest quality of our products in all steps of the production process. In this spirit, we have changed the labeling of our bearings to ensure full traceability of their components, by being able to instantly locate all the features that have accompanied them throughout their manufacturing.
All this translates into a product certified with the highest European quality standards.
From now on, our bearings have three significant changes:
1. Our bearings will be marked “Fersa”
We substitute the "A&S Fersa," and use “Fersa” instead. This change will be progressively integrated, extending to all our part numbers.
2. Adding a unit identification code on the tapered and cylindrical bearings
From now on, our bearings will incorporate a code, which will help us to ensure traceability at all stages of the production process and controls. Thanks to this number, we can know, from the time and date of its manufacture until the control results, the line and operator who participated in its production.
3. Adding a Data Matrix code to double tapered bearings
It is a code, similar to a QR code, which opens up a wide range of possibilities for us in terms of gathering useful information about the features and control results for each of the pieces. The main advantage of the Data Matrix is that information is quadrupled in the 4 quadrants of the code, so that if any part of the marked area deteriorates, it is still possible to read the code.
In short, we added three new elements to our bearings that are in response to one of our main motivations: your trust.
At Fersa, we are working every day to guarantee you the best possible quality.
